Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerboard scale table for a stringed instrument usable for education and performance assistance when the performance of a stringed instrument having no fret is learned.SOLUTION: For an interval of 12 sounds corresponding to one octave from an open string of a stringed instrument, a computer program capable of calculating a finger position of a correct interval on the basis of the shape and dimension around each string of the stringed instrument in accordance with a physical law is created. A cent value of a chromatic tuner is filled into a correct finger position diagram 36 of each string for each keynote of temperament such as 12 average temperament, pythagorean temperament, and just intonation, a frequency ratio table 24, and a calculated value table 25 of the finger position, and is printed on a printing medium such as paper on a template based on the 12 average temperament.
