To provide a fingerprint authentication method in human body communication for transmitting/receiving data by human body contact.
The invention relates to a fingerprint authentication method in human body communication for transmitting/receiving data by using the fingerprint authentication. The fingerprint authentication method is capable of: classifying data which is communicated according to data significance, that is, a predetermined security level into disclosure information, protection and security information; transmitting/receiving the disclosure information without a fingerprint authentication process according to prior agreement between two users; transmitting/receiving the protection information along with authenticated fingerprint information about the protection information; and transmitting/receiving the security information after comparing a fingerprint acquired on the site by a fingerprint authenticating part included in each human body communication equipment with received fingerprint information to perform fingerprint authentication about the security information to thereby be able to enhance information concealability and protective property. the two users to communicate the data through contact with the human skin in the human body communication environment using a human body as a communication medium, wherein the protection and security information each having a high protection level are transmitted/received after exchanging fingerprint information and conducting the fingerprint authentication.
