PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, excellent in fouling and acid resistances and outdoor durability, excellent in erasability of markers for display boards and useful as the marker display boards such as white boards, etc., by blending a specific silicone compound in a coating of a specified resin composition.

CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) a copolymer comprising (i) a vinyl monomer containing an alkoxysilyl and/or a silanol groups and (ii) a vinyl monomer containing an oxirane group, (B) a metallic chelate curing agent and (C) a silicone compound of the formula [R1 is hydroxyl, phenyl or a 1-8C alkyl to which the hydroxyl group, epoxy, etc., may be bound; R2 is a 1-8C alkyl or phenyl and 10-50% based on the total number of R1 and R2 are methyl; X is hydroxyl group or a 1-8C alkyl having the hydroxyl group, epoxy or carboxyl; (n) is an integer of 0-20] as a vehicle component. The silicone compound of the formula is preferably diphenylmethylhydroxysilane.
