To provide a finished yarn which is used for a stretch lace base fabric, well follows the stretching of the stretch lace base fabric and does not cause a puckering phenomenon and a doubling phenomenon, and to provide a method for producing the finished yarn.

There are provided the finished yarn for the stretch lace base fabric, characterized by comprising the false-twisted yarn of a latent crimp type conjugated filament polyester-based elastic yarn obtained by subjecting two polyester-based polymers having different heat-shrinking properties to a conjugated-spinning process in a side-by-side type; and the method for producing the finished yarn for the stretch lace base fabric, characterized by doubling the false-twisted yarn and water-soluble fibers. The twist coefficient of the false-twisted yarn is preferably 4,000 to 20,000.
