To provide a finishing agent composition for a clothing material, which prevents a liquid from remaining in a charge port in a washing machine, in the finishing agent composition for the clothing material capable of suppressing formation of fuzz and fuzz balls in a fiber product such as a clothing material, and to provide a treatment method of a clothing material using the finishing agent composition for the clothing material.
The finishing agent composition for the clothing material contains: a polymer (A) that contains 70-100 mass% of (meth)acrylic ester having an alkyl group with 1-16 carbon atoms and has a glass-transition temperature of -40°C or higher but lower than 0°C; a cationized starch (B); a specific cationic polymer (C); and water. A mass ratio [(C)/(B)] of the (C) component to the (B) component is 0.15-3, and a mass ratio [(C)/(A)] of the (C) component to the (A) component is 0.005-0.15.
