PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long object-loading device for a vehicle that can correspond to a ladder of a different shape.SOLUTION: In the long object-loading device for a vehicle, a main rail 10 includes: a fixture 12 that locks one end of the long object; and a head slider 50 that holds the other end 71 of the long object. The fixture 12 is disposed at one end of the main rail 10, and a head slider 50 is slidably disposed to the main rail 10. The head slider 50 includes: a sliding section 51 that slides to the main rail 10; a forward holding part 52 and a rear holding part 53 that hold the other end 71 of the long object; and a forward and rear width adjustment section 54 that changes the interval of the forward holding part 52 and the rear holding part 53.
