Abstract:
PURPOSE: To conduct the action of fire extinguishing by putting an engine into the state of stoppage automatically by the operation of an operation switch alone.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of an automobile fire extinguisher which is equipped with a solenoid valve 2 to control the start of a fire extinguishing agent to be jetted out of a nozzle 1 that is opened to an engine room and an operation switch 3 to open/close an electric current that is to be impressed at the drive coil of the solenoid valve 2, when the operation switch 3 is operated, the injection of fuel is stopped in linkage with this operation, and at the same time, the fire extinguishing agent is jetted out of a fire extinguishing cylinder 13. As a result, forgetting to stop an engine 4 at the time of fire outbreak is prevented, and the spread of fire that is due to the fuel being fed can be prevented.
