Title:
FIRE EXTINGUISHER FOR COMBUSTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5553637
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the starting of fires while obviating gas-poisoning, by mountting a mechanism that releases a contact mechanism in the lowering direction of a wick by the functioning of a vibration sensing mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A rack 18 is slid by means of a handle 17 against the elasticity of a spring 19, a contact portion 20 is beforehand contacted by means of a contact lever 21, and a combustion wick not shown in the figure is lifted up to an ignition location by means of a wick up-and-down dial 11 and burnt. When carbon monoxide, etc. are formed by incomplete combustion, etc. during combustion, the formation is detected by means of a gas sensing mechanism not shown in the figure, a solenoid 31 is worked, the contact lever 21 is pushed up by means of a pin 32 and a contact condition is released. When an earthquake, etc. happen, a weight 24 senses them and tilts, and pulls up the contact lever 21 and the contact ondition is released. Thus, the combustion wick is let fall, and a fire can be instantaneously extinguished.
