The piping 11 of fire extinguishing water is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the passenger boarding bridge 3 on the lower surface of the bridge 3, a water storage tank 17 is installed below the bridge near the piping, and a pump 20 capable of sending the fire extinguishing water in a water storage tank to the piping is provided. A plurality of jetting heads 10a-10d are installed at every prescribed interval to the piping, heat sensing means 12 are installed at every prescribed interval on the lower surface of the bridge, and a switch means PS1 for driving the pump on the basis of the operation of the heat sensing means is provided. By the drive of the pump based on the operation of the switch means, the fire extinguishing water inside the water storage tank is sent into the piping, and the water is discharged from the respective jetting heads toward the lower part of the bridge.
