Abstract:
The fire extinguisher according to the present invention is a portable fire extinguisher, and is provided with, as components forming the fire extinguisher: a tank 1 filled with a gaseous, powdery, or liquid fire-extinguishing agent; a valve case 3 where a first flow channel for allowing the fire-extinguishing agent to flow therethrough is formed, the first flow channel having a valve mechanism assembled therewith; a cap 4 for fastening the valve case 3 to an opening 2 of the tank 1; a siphon tube attachment portion 6 provided below the valve case 3 so as to open into the tank 1; a siphon tube 5 attached to the siphon tube attachment portion 6; a hose attachment portion 8 provided above the valve case 3 and having a second flow channel which is connected to the first flow channel and which is open to outside the tank 1; a hose 7 attached to the hose attachment portion 8; an operation lever 9 for actuating the valve mechanism; and a safety pin 10 for restricting the operation of the operation lever 9. All of these components are formed of a non-magnetic material.
