To provide a composition for an aerosol fire-extinguisher which combusts compounds to generate a fire-extinguishing component and cools and jets the generated fire-extinguishing component to bring a fire under control, and to provide a method for preparing the composition and a fire-extinguisher.
A fire-extinguishing agent comprises: 65-82 wt.% KNO3, 3-13 wt.% KClO4, 8-15 wt.% dicyanodiamide, and the balance resin. The agent may further include 3-10 wt.% oxamide. The method for preparing the fire-extinguishing agent comprises the steps of: blending the components of the fire-extinguishing agent in a solvent; passing the blended component through a rolling roll with different speed; removing the solvent from the blended component; crushing the blended component down to 250 m or finer; and pressure-fit-forming the crushed blended component. The pressure-fit-forming step is carried out in a metal mold kept at 60-90C. The fire-extinguisher is structured to minimize flames, melts, ashes, etc. generated upon operation thereof.
