Abstract:
To provide a fire extinguishing agent having an excellent fire extinguishing performance and high safety toward the human body.
The fire extinguishing agent contains: one, two or more alkali metal salts of alkanoic acids selected from among potassium acetate, potassium citrate, sodium acetate and sodium citrate; one, two or more natural surfactant selected from among lecithin, saponin and casein; a lower alcohol having a carbon number of 4 or less and designated as a food additive; and water.
