Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise attributed to rapid decompressing and expanding of fire extinguishing gas.SOLUTION: A gas injection device comprises: an injection head (13) with a nozzle part (12); a sound absorption material (125) made of porous metal into which fire-extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle part flows; a ring member (122) that contacts the sound absorption material and fixes the sound absorption material; and a connection member (129) that connects the injection head and the ring member. The nozzle part is provided with a nozzle hole (16), and the sound absorption material has one end surface (125b) for discharging fire-extinguishing gas, and the other end surface (125a) facing an opening of the nozzle hole so that fire-extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle hole can be caused to directly flow into the porous metal from the other end surface. The connection member includes a screwing part (123) that can be screwed into the injection head, and the one end surface is open to the atmosphere except the portion that contacts the ring member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
