Abstract:
To provide a fire-extinguishing member that allows an aerosol fire extinguisher having a high fire-extinguishing effect to be formed even on an adherend having a complicated shape such as unevenness, and facilitates extinguishing at the beginning of a fire, thereby preventing fire spread, and a method that efficiently produces the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a fire-extinguishing member that includes: an adherend having an uneven treatment surface; a fire extinguisher-containing layer provided on the treatment surface; and a protective layer provided on the surface of the fire extinguisher-containing layer. The fire extinguisher-containing layer contains a binder resin, and a fire extinguisher component that generates aerosol by combustion. The method includes the steps of preparing an adherend having an uneven treatment surface; forming the fire extinguisher-containing layer on the treatment surface; and forming the protective layer on the fire extinguisher-containing layer. The step for forming the fire extinguisher-containing layer and/or the step for forming the protective layer is conducted by the wet coating technique.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
