Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fire extinguishing pump unit even smaller, compacter, and lighter in weight.
SOLUTION: In a fire extinguishing pump unit in which a pump P, an electric motor M for driving the pump, a priming tank 26 supplying priming to the pump, and an operation testing device 25 for testing the pump are mounted on a common base 11, the priming tank 26 is mounted on frames 14A, 14B and placed in a position higher than the pump and the electric motor. The frames 14A, 14B supporting the priming tank are arranged as independent structures on both sides of the common base 11 along its longitudinal direction.
