Title:
FIRE EXTINGUISHING SPRAY NOZZLE OF SPRINKLER FIRE EXTINGUISHING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3734252
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a higher fire extinguishing capacity, least damages due to water by reducing the amount of discharged water and a reduction in cost by minimizing the capacities of pumps.
SOLUTION: An inner cylinder 32 is movably housed into an outer cylinder 31 connected to fire extinguishing piping and a mobile open/close ring member 54A and a pressure chamber 50a are provided between the outer cylinder 31 and the inner cylinder 32. A guide member 35 is sent into or out of an inner cylinder 33 under a water pressure with the thrusting of the inner cylinder 33 to vary the radius of discharge so that a fire distinguishing solution or water forced is sprayed concentratedly in a non-sprayed ring-like shape, which varies the diameter of a ring-like water discharging pattern so as to make it reach the outer rim of a specified protection range from right below the head.
