In the one fire extinguishing system, a fire extinguisher 90 provided with a fire extinguishing agent storage container 10 and a siphon tube 3 whose distal end part 5 gets close to or contacts the inner wall surface of the fire extinguishing agent storage container 10 by at least partially being flexible is disposed so as to be horizontal within a limited space. Thus, since the remainder of the fire extinguishing agent 7 is reduced, the fire extinguishing agent storage container 10 is miniaturized and the space of the fire extinguishing system is reduced. In addition, since the fire extinguisher 90 is disposed so as to be horizontal within the limited space, the degree of freedom of the arranging place of the fire extinguisher 90 or the fire extinguishing agent storage container 10 in the fire extinguishing system is remarkably increased. As a result, a so-called dead space in various kinds of machine tools and various kinds of manufacturing devices is effectively utilized.
