Abstract:
To provide a fire-fighting rescue vehicle that can store a large number of accessories necessary for fire fighting and a rescue operation, and can perform the fire fighting and the rescue operation simultaneously.SOLUTION: A fire rescue vehicle includes: a main frame 2a where a traveling engine E is equipped with; a sub-frame 2b disposed on the upper part of the main frame 2a: a storage 4 disposed on the upper part of sub-frame 2b, and storing accessories for use in the fire fighting and the rescue operation; and a fire pump 10 disposed inside in the vehicle width direction of the main frame 2a and/or the sub-frame 2b so as to be positioned at the lower part of the storage 4 and the backward from rear wheels. The fire pump 10 is connected to a PTO shaft 5 of the traveling engine E and is driven by the traveling engine E, and comes in communication with a spout 21 and a water intake 22 opened toward the rear. The PTO shaft 5 has: multiple propeller shafts 5a, 5b, 5c; and center bearings 5x, 5y for connecting these propeller shafts 5a, 5b, 5c to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
