This fire hose coupling device is a spigot type coupling device. By inserting a male coupling into a female coupling, the couplings are connected and a continuous flow passage is formed inside. The fire hose coupling device comprises the male coupling having a male connecting mechanism on one end and the female coupling having a female connecting mechanism on one end. The male connecting mechanism is arranged rotatably with respect to the male coupling and the female connecting mechanism is arranged rotatably with respect to the female coupling. With such a configuration, twists of the hoses are straightened spontaneously and dangers or difficulties of handling due to the twists are averted.
