Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device and a fire extinguisher box that enable quick fire fighting to be carried out without causing a problem for taking out a fire hose and a fire extinguisher in a case where the fire hydrant device is installed so as to be buried in a watchman's passage.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device 1 is installed in a space 87 for installation provided in a watchman's passage 83 built on a road shoulder of a roadway 85 in a tunnel, and includes a box-type housing 7 incorporating a hose storage part 5 in which a hose 3 is stored. The housing 7 includes a top plate part 9 that can be used as a road surface of the watchman's passage 83, and a body part 11 below the top plate part 9. The top plate part 9 includes an opening that enables the hose 3 to be drawn above the hose storage part 5, and a lid body for covering the opening openably and closably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
