Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant apparatus and a fire extinguisher box allowing a person to perform quick fire fighting without any hindrance for taking out a fire hose or a fire extinguisher in a case of being installed, with it buried in a watchman's passage.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant apparatus 1 according to the present invention is installed in an installation space 77 provided in a watchman's passage 73 that is constructed on a road shoulder of a roadway 75 in a tunnel. The fire hydrant apparatus includes a box-shaped housing 11 incorporating a hose storage part 5 for storing a hose 3. The housing 11 includes: a top plate part 13 jointly used as a road surface of the watchman's passage 73; and a body part 15 on a lower side of the top plate part 13. The body part 15 includes: a front opening part 31 provided on a front side of the hose storage part 5; and a sliding-door-type front door body 37 slidably provided on the front side of the front opening part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
