Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device and a tunnel fire preventing system provided with the device which can effectively used at the time of the generation of a fire.
SOLUTION: At a conventional fire hydrant device provided with only a fire hose, a fire fighting robot 30 executing fire fighting activity is housed in the housing part 22 of a fire fighting robot take-out door 14 integrated into one body with a hose take-out door 13 to eject the robot 30 by opening the door 14 at the time of the generation of a fire. The robot 30 travels to a fire generating place to aim water by a command from a remote monitoring room, its own infrared sensor 60B and an infrared sensor 61. Thereby the device can surely execute primary fire fighting and is not useless to install as against a conventional fire hydrant device which is not used even at the time of the generation of a fire because how to use the device is not known or is not used from the beginning.
