Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device and a fire hydrant valve, enhancing seal reliability of a ball valve element by suppressing occurrence of loosening of an insert, and allowing replacement of a component unit.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant valve 20 includes: a valve body 21 disposed with a primary side inflow port 23 and a secondary side inflow port 24 on both sides of a valve chamber 22; a ball valve element 25 sandwiched by a pair of ball seats 26, 27, and stored inside the valve body 21 from the primary side inflow port 23 side; and an insert 28 produced in a cylindrical body formed with a male screw part 28a on one side of the outer circumferential face, screw-fitted in the valve body 21 from the primary side inflow port 23 side in a state that the male screw part 28a side is directed to the ball valve element 25, and pressing the ball valve element 25 sandwiched by the pair of ball seats 26, 27. The insert 28 is locked to the inner wall face of the valve body 21 by a locking screw 30 screw-fitted in a screw hoe 29 formed such that the screw hole 29 penetrates a circumferential wall of the insert 28.
