Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a piping portion of a fire hydrant device, and to easily mount it to a water supply main pipe portion.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device 2 has a connection part connected to a branch pipe 41 of a water supply main pipe 4, and has a fire hydrant valve unit 5 in which a fire hydrant valve, an automatic pressure regulating valve 53, and an automatic drain valve 58 are integrated. By connecting the connection part to the branch pipe 41 of the water supply main pipe 4 such that the automatic drain valve 58 is directed downward, the fire hydrant valve unit 5 is mounted in a mounting space 14 inside an inspection path below a side wall recessed part 11 mounted with a fire hydrant body 7 outside a casing of the fire hydrant body 7, a secondary side of the fire hydrant valve unit 5 and a fire-extinguishing hose are connected by use of a flexible piping member 6. When discharging water from a nozzle of the fire-extinguishing hose, the fire hydrant device 2 opens the fire hydrant valve to make fire extinguishing water regulated to a prescribed pressure in the automatic pressure regulating valve 53 flow into the flexible piping member 6.
