Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve hose storage in which a hose shrunken in a state that water is not passed is appropriately stored, and which can appropriately cope with elongation of the hose when water is passed.SOLUTION: In a hose storage structure, an elliptical drum 50 having an elliptical end face shape is arranged in a housing 12, and a hose 42 shrunken to a length of 15 m in a no load state that water is not passed is wound on the outer circumference of the elliptical drum 50. A hydrant door is opened to extract a nozzle 54, and the hose 42 is fed with water by the opening operation of a hydrant valve by a hydrant valve opening/closing lever 48 so that the hose is elongated to a length of 30 m for performing a fire extinction. When feeding of the water is stopped, the length of the hose returns to its original length while the water is being discharged from the elongated hose.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
