Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire hydrant device enabling quick fire extinguishment activities to be performed without generating a hindrance to taking out a hose for fire extinguishment when the fire hydrant device is installed while embedded in a monitoring personnel passage.SOLUTION: A fire hydrant device 1 includes: a top plate 3; a box-shaped body 5 arranged below the top plate 3 and including a front panel 30; a hose storage part 9 arranged within the body 5 and storing a wound hose 7; and a nozzle holder 13 arranged within the body 5 and holding a fire extinguishment nozzle 11 arranged in a tip of the hose 7. The top plate 3 includes: an upper opening 23 arranged above the nozzle holder 13; and an upper door 25 covering the upper opening 23 so as to open/close the upper opening. The nozzle holder 13 can be detached when the fire extinguishment nozzle 11 is pulled upward from the upper opening 23. A fire extinguishment nozzle fall prevention rod 15 prevents the hose 7 and fire extinguishment nozzle 11 from falling when the fire extinguishment nozzle 11 is detached from the nozzle holder 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
