Abstract:
To provide fire hydrant equipment configured to easily and reliably connect a hydrant valve disposed in a fire-hydrant cabinet and a water-supply pipe via a branch pipe with flexibility, branched from the water-supply pipe and a joint member without taking account of positional deviation of the fire-hydrant cabinet relative to the water-supply pipe, and to easily and accurately install the fire-hydrant cabinet in an inside wall of a building.SOLUTION: Fire-hydrant equipment according to the present invention includes a fire-hydrant cabinet installed in an inside wall of a building, storing a fire hose in the inside and including a noncircular joint insertion hole formed in a wall plate, a joint member engaged with the joint insertion hole and disposed in the joint insertion hole so as not to rotationally turn relative to the joint insertion hole, a branch pipe with flexibility, connecting a water-supply pipe disposed outside the fire-hydrant cabinet and an inflow port of the joint member, and a hydrant valve connected to an outflow port of the joint member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
