PURPOSE: To expand a moving range, namely, an extinguishing range while facilitating the movement of an extension hose by placing at least the extension hole on a caster in a fire hydrant which has a base hose connected to the extension hole through a hand valve fixed on the caster.

CONSTITUTION: A water supply pipe 2 of a fire hydrant 1 is connected to a shaping hose 4 through a fire hydrant valve 3. The shaping hose 4 is made up of an inwardly winding type base hose 5 and an extension hole 6. Here, the base hose 5 is housed into a fixed type hose box 8 fixed on a wall surface 7. On the other hand, the extension hose 6 is housed in a mobile type hose box 11 set on a caster. Further, on the top of the mobile type hose box 11, a hand valve 13 is arranged to connect the base hose 5 to the extension hose 6. Thus. when a need arises, the caster 10 is moved to a place where a fire breaks out together with the extension hose 6 to get an extinguishing water jetted out of a nozzle 22. This constitution enables the expansion of an extinguishing range while achieving a quick fire extinguishing operation.
