To prevent the leakage of a flame from occurring on the periphery of a window frame or a window stile/rail and double glazing and prevent the occurrence of falling of wire-reinforced glass to the utmost, so as to maintain fire protecting performance specified in the Building Standard Law, the Building Standard Law enforcement ordinance, etc., even when heating is applied from the outdoor or indoor side of the building; and to stabilize the double glazing over a long period of time by making constructibility proper.
A metal angle material 17 and a metal glass coming-off stopper 24 are provided in the state of facing each other in the indoor and outdoor directions, in the inner peripheral groove portion 10 of the window frame 2 (or the window stile/rail) for mounting the double glazing 3. An outer peripheral end of the double glazing is positioned between the metal angle material and the metal glass coming-off stopper. An expandable caulking material 19 is interposed between a bottom surface 10a in the inner peripheral groove portion of the window frame (or the window stile/rail) and an outer peripheral end surface 3c of the double glazing. A heat-resistant tape 18 is interposed between the metal angle material and the double glazing.
