Abstract:
To provide a fire pump apparatus which allows a sure and effective action under disadvantageous conditions in a disaster.
The fire pump apparatus has a motorized pump 10 to convey water with pressure, a main pipe 52 attached to the discharge side of the pump 10, branched pipes 54 and 56 from the main pipe, and one or a plurality of discharge means 50 mounted along the branched pipes. A pressure sensor 72 is mounted on the discharge side of the pump 10. An adjustable-speed means 30 which adjusts speed so that the discharge pressure of the pump has a prescribed value on the basis of output of the pressure sensor 72.
