PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire pump vehicle with a strong water sucking capacity for solving a problem of limitation in an operational capacity due to limitation in mounting fire-extinguishing tools on a fire pump vehicle on which a fire pump, a submersible hydraulic pump and a hydraulic pump for driving the submersible hydraulic pump are mounted, and which is adapted to reach a distance to a water source and a height to a water surface for obtaining a water amount sufficient for fire-fighting in a fire scale in a large-scale disaster.SOLUTION: A fire pump vehicle includes a fire pump and a water pump that sucks water by driving an electric motor. As a power generator for supplying power to the electric motor to drive the water pump, a power generator driven by a vehicle engine or a power generator mounted for driving a vehicle is used to increase a water sucking capacity. Also, depending on a fire scale and a water source condition such as a distance to a water source and a height to a water surface, a fire pump vehicle with strong water sucking capacity enables selecting either a single use of the fire pump, a single use of the water pump driven by the electric motor, or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
