Title:
FIRE-RESISTANT PANEL STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11107403
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve the fire-resistant capacity of a joint by butting mutual side faces of a plurality of sheets of panels in which both side faces of a foamed sheet of polyvinyl chloride mixed with inorganic materials are covered with plaster boards and filling an inorganic heat-resistant expansible material in the gap between foamed sheets of the joints.

This panel is constituted of a polyvinyl chloride foam sheet 21 mixed with an inorganic material, a plaster board 22 covering both inside and outside faces of the foam sheet, and a mortar adhesive 23 sticking the foam sheet 21 to the plaster board 22. A clearance 26 is formed between mutual foam sheets 21 in the joint 8 of the panel and an inorganic heat-resistant expansible material 27 is filled in the clearance 26. When the external wall is heated, the foam sheet 21 is thermally contracted and the clearance is widened and a gap is brought. And at the same time, the expansible material 27 is expanded to fill the gap. And hence, transfer of the heated air from the heated side to the non-heated side is blocked, in the external wall and the temperature of the non-heated side is prevented from rising and the fire-resistant capacity of the joint 8 is increased.
