Abstract:

To provide ideal fire resisting composite building material and fire resisting composite flooring high in strength, lightweight and excellent in fire resistance, machinability and nail yield strength by using porous inorganic core material for flooring.

A reinforcing layer 4 is bonded to at least one of the surface side face and back side face of porous inorganic core material such as a gypsum board 3. The reinforcing layer 4 contains 20-200 pts.wt. of thermosetting resin 1 to 100 pts.wt. of inorganic fiber 2. It is desirable to mix an elastic high polymer in the reinforcing layer, and it is desirable that the porous inorganic core material contains an organic component. Fire resisting composite building material can be used as fire resisting composite flooring.
