To provide a fire-retardant composite sheet having excellent fire retardancy and characterized in that a synthetic resin base layer is difficult to ignite and a surface metal layer is hard to lower in glossiness.
The fire-retardant composite is constituted by integrally laminating a metal layer 3 on the single surface or both surfaces of the synthetic resin base layer 1 through an adhesive layer 2. The synthetic resin base layer 1 is formed as a layer comprising a vinyl chloride resin with a chlorination ratio of 58-73% and preferably contains a titanium compound, a phosphorus fire retardant, chlorinated polyethylene, a molybdenum compound or the like. Alternatively, the synthetic resin base layer 1 is formed of a layer comprising a vinyl chloride resin with a chlorination ratio of 56.8% and contains a titanium compound, a foaming agent, a decomposition accelerator, a radical generating agent, a crosslinking agent, a fire retardant aid or the like. Or, the synthetic resin base layer 1 is formed of a layer comprising a polyolefin resin and contains a metal hydroxide compound or the like. Desirably, a cured coating film comprising a thermosetting resin paint is formed on the surface of the metal layer to prevent the lowering of the gloss of the metal layer.
