Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a polyolefinic resin foamed product having excellent flame retardance and good fire self-extinguishability. CONSTITUTION:Foamable polyolefin particles having thermally expansible graphite powder adhered to the surfaces thereof are charged in a mold having a desired shape and thermally foamed to produce a foamed product in which the foamed particles are mutually melt-adhered to each other through the thermally expansible graphite powder existing on the interfaces of the particles. The amount of the thermally expandable graphite powder is 8-20wt.%, preferably 10-19wt.%, in the foamed product.
