To provide a fire sensor without the need of manufacturing a circuit board corresponding to a type, and to provide a tester and a testing method for testing the type of a fire sensor.
A printed wiring board 1 is provided inside, and the board 1 is equipped with an integrated circuit 2 constituted so as to sense a fire by three sensing systems: a fixed temperature type, a differential type and a compensation type, and with a selection circuit 3 for selectively allowing one of the three to function. The integrated circuit 2 is provided with set pins P3 and P4, and the three sensing system selectively function depending on whether or not signals are inputted from a transistor TR2 to them (whether or not a voltage is applied) when power is supplied. The selection circuit 3 is provided with a high voltage contact point A1 connected to the transistor TR2 to be applied with a voltage and a low voltage contact point A2 connected to a ground side not to be applied with a voltage. Then, the selection circuit 3 is provided with plural terminals for connection for selectively making the high voltage contact point A1 and the low voltage contact point A2 conductive/non- conductive to the set pins P3 and P4.
