To provide a fire stop structure of a wall a in frame method enabling a fire stop to be formed at a joining part of a wall and an attic by simple work and easily imparting fire resistant performance.
The fire stop structure 10 closes the upper end opened part of a wall 11a, 11b communicating with the space of an attic 21a, 21b. The fire stop structure 10 is constituted by suspending a fire stop heat insulating member 12 from a horizontal material 14 and pushing a lower part inside from the upper end opened part of the wall 11a, 11b. The fire stop heat insulating member 12 is manufactured by forming a noncombustible fibrous heat insulating material 13 into a longitudinally long mattress shape and successively covering a front and rear pair of a front part 13a and a bottom 13b with a moisture proof sheet 15 and forming a mounting lug 16 by extending upwardly the moisture proof sheet 15 from the upper edge of the front part 13a. The fire stop heat insulating member 12 is mounted to the horizontal member 14 through the lug 16.
