FIREPROOF SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06218073
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a fireproof sheet which is easy to be applied to cover an object to be protected, has high fire proofing performance during a fire, and facilitates working without making a human body feel uncomfortable by providing a silicone rubber coated layer on one or both sides of a sheet comprising a woven cloth made of a fired polyacrylonitryl-based carbon fiber.

CONSTITUTION: A coating of silicone rubber non-combustible with higher water proofing property is applied on one side or both sides of a sheet 1 comprising a fired polyacrylonitryl-based carbon fiber such as pilomex. A fireproof sheet thus obtained is light and highly soft with excellent non-combustibleness to simplify working such as winding on the object to be protected, thereby, achieving higher fire proofing performance.
