Abstract:

To efficiently perform shutoff work of a gap by closing the gap simultaneously with stuffing work of a fireproofing material, and to exert a fireproof function.

A fireproofing material body of a fireproofing material 11 is integrally formed with elastically deformable ribs 15 extending in the peripheral direction of the fireproofing material body. In stuffing work of the fireproofing materials 11 into a through hole 34, each of the ribs 15 maintains a nearly original shape to shut off a gap even if the gap having such size as not to stuff the fireproofing material 11 is formed because the ribs 15 are elastically deformable. Thereby, even if not flowing putty or the like into the gap, the gap with a wiring/piping material or the gaps of corner parts of the through hole 34 can be closed simultaneously with the stuffing work of the fireproofing materials 11, so that shutoff work of the gap can be efficiently performed, and a fireproof function can be exerted.
