To provide a firing device for ceramic art which enables general ceramists to easily set the target firing state at every time in the form of firing most adequate for the works of ceramic art relating to the manufacture without requiring the specialized knowledge relating to the ceramic art and to adequately fire the products of ceramic art so as to meet the target firing state.
This firing device for ceramic art is constituted to automatically operate a firing regulation means 3 of a firing furnace 1 via a controller 4 in accordance with a control signal outputted according to the deviation between the firing state in the firing furnace 1 and the target firing state at each preset time in such a manner that the firing state in the furnace is maintained at the target firing state. The firing device is provided with a memory medium 5 on which the target firing state data at every time in the specific firing form determined by at least the explanation of the firing method, the plural firing condition items shown along this explanation and the selection of these firing condition items are stored and a reproduction processing means 6 which reproduces and displays the storage contents of this memory medium 5 and inputs the target firing state data of every time in the specific firing form decided by the selection of the firing condition items as the target value to the controller 4.
