To provide a firing device 1 allowing a greater amount of gas flow 3 to enter into a firing container inner portion 4a.
The firing device 1 comprises a firing container 4 and a heating furnace 5. The gas flow 3 is formed which distributes along a heating furnace inner face 5b in a space A formed between a firing container outer face 4a and a heating furnace inner face 5b facing each other. The gas flow 3 enters from a firing container opening portion 44 provided in the firing container outer face 4b into the firing container inner portion 5a. In the firing container inner portion 4a, fired objects 2 are heated and fired while having contact with gas 31 flowing from the firing container opening portion 44. The gas flow 3 is formed by blowing the gas 30 to the heating furnace inner face 5b in an approximately vertical direction.
