To provide a firing furnace which requires only a small maintenance work and in which a dewaxing process and a sintering process can be performed for producing a sintered compact having a constant quality, and to provide a production method thereof using the firing furnace.
The firing furnace has a chamber which can be closed, a heating chamber which is provided in the chamber and has a heater, a first exhaust tube connected to the chamber, a first vacuum pump connected to the first exhaust tube, a second exhaust tube directly connected to the heating chamber, and a collecting apparatus for collecting binder components in the exhaust gas and a second vacuum pump which are connected to the second exhaust tube. The method for producing the non-oxide ceramic sintered compact comprises a process for continuously performing the dewaxing process and the sintering process by using the firing furnace.
