Title:
FIRING FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013130366
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a firing furnace capable of stably recovering exhaust heat energy over a long period of time by using a Stirling engine.

A Stirling engine 20 is installed in a cooling zone 5 of a roller hearth kiln 1. High temperature side heat exchanging units 21 of the Stirling engine 20 are inserted below a roller 2 through through-holes 12 located in the right and left sidewalls of a furnace body 10. The Stirling engine 20 drives a power generator, and the exhaust heat energy is thus recovered as electric power.
