Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a first cross-member which can enhance the ventilating ability of an engine compartment and which can reduce a load exerted to a position where the first cross-member and the center member are attached.
CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle cross-member structure in which a center member 104 for supporting an engine is attached at its front end no the lower part of the cross-member provided in the front end part of an engine compartment, and extending widthwise of a vehicle so as to connect left and right side members together, the front part of the first cross-member 101. is extended forward, and an protrusion 101c which is projected, at least in its extending part, downward from the front end part of the center member 10 is provided.
