To provide a device for preventing fish from straying and entering capable of urging all fish to take proper avoid action at early stage when fish approaches an intake or a discharge channel of a power station to prevent fish from straying and entering into it.
This device 17 for preventing fish from straying and entering for preventing fish from straying and entering into the intake or the discharge channel of the power station is provided with a plurality of metallic pipes 18 arranged at an interval in front of the intake or the discharge channel and extending below a water surface, metallic chains 19 provided in respective metallic pipes 18, passing through the metallic pipes, and suspended in water, a swing member 20 attached to a part suspending from the metallic pipe of the metallic chain 19 and capable of swinging, and a driving mechanism for moving the metallic chain 19 suspended from the metallic pipe 18 forcedly. The swing member 20 may be constituted by a metal-colored tape or a pipe and a driving fin may be provided in the part suspended from the metallic pipe 18 of the metallic chain 19 instead of the driving mechanism.
