PURPOSE: To facilitate a fishway work in a place where a river bed is changed owing to a damage by a flood by a method wherein a plurality of blocks each comprising a bottom structure part and a standing-upright structure part are intercoupled to build a water residence part and a fish way.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of blocks made of concrete having a standing-upright wall in, for example, an L-shape are prepared. When the river bed of a river is changed owing to a damage by a flood and a fishway is damaged out, a block according to this invention are fixed to a part, where a fishway is intended to be built, by means of, for example, anchors. The side of other block is positioned adjacently to the side of the block and fixed thereto. Through repetition of the above, a fishway indicated by an arrow mark and a fishway structure 2 comprising a water residence part 17 are built by using all the blocks. In this case, the blocks are arranged in a stairs-form state along a flow of water. This structure causes easy formation of a fishway only by replacing the foot protection blocks of a river bed with the blocks according to this invention.
