Title:
FISHING ROD WITH FISHLINE LENGTH CONTROL MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0884548
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the fishing rod capable of bringing the deviation of timing of a hit to a minimum, designed to hold and fix a fishline releasably at the tip of the fishing rod and put the succeeding fishline into the hollow space of the fishing rod.

CONSTITUTION: A fixing device 22 for a fishline 20 is stuck on the tip such as the head of a shaking-out-type fishing rod and then fitted with a cylindrical clamping member 18 with the tip divergent, and a fishline-holding member 24 is held inside the tip 22A. A thin groove is formed in the longer direction of the fishline-holding member made of rubber or expanded resin and the fishline is slidably held by sandwiching it with the groove. The flshline is drawn out of the hollow space of the rod and held and fixed by the fishline-holding member pressed onto the tip 22A having a slit in the longer direction by the clamping member; therefore being hard to entangle itself.
