Abstract:
To provide a fishing rod having reduced weight of the rod pipe and improved durability by preventing the stripping of screw threads.
This fishing rod has the rod pipe produced by laminating a fiber-reinforced resin prepreg and having integrally formed screw 14 having a thread groove formed on the inner or outer face around the axial center. The rod has a low-resin content layer S4 having an average synthetic resin content of 10-20 wt.% in the layers of the rod pipe and the screw groove 14M reaches the low-resin layer. A high-resin content layer S3 having a synthetic resin content of 40-100 wt.% is placed adjacently to the boundary between the low-resin content layer and the boundary exposed to the screw groove 14M.
