Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which has stiffness sufficient for a targeted large fish and whose tip can easily be moved on the sea side, when contacted with a fish.
SOLUTION: This fishing rod 10 is approximately horizontally held with a rod holder 12. The front support portion 23 of the rod holder 12 is contacted with a portion 20 of the fishing rod body 13 from the lower side, and the rear support portion 24 of the rod holder 12 is contacted with a butt portion 21 from the upper side. The rod holder-contacting portion of the butt portion 21 can elastically be deformed by disposing rubber plates on the upper side of the butt portion 21. The rubber plates can be attached or detached to/from the butt portion 21.
