PURPOSE: To provide a fitting apparatus for a counter which can avoid such inefficient work as screwing the conventional wood screw in the upward direction and the counter can be simply and surely fixed even if it is the back side of the counter.

CONSTITUTION: A fitting apparatus for a counter consists of a hooking fitment 1 hooking on a supporting plate 2 of the counter 4 and a clamping tool 3 for pulling this hooking fitment 1 to the counter 4 side and fixing the counter 4 on the supporting plate 2 and a through hole is formed respectively on the upper and lower horizontal pieces of the hooking fitment 1 with an approximately U-shaped cross section and the extended apex part of the lower horizontal piece is made to be a hooking part 7 hooking to the supporting plate 2 and a screw bar 9 hung downward below the counter 4 and inserted through the upper and lower through holes of the hooking fitment 1 and a nut 10 fitted on the apex of this screw bar 9 and pulling the hooking fitment 1 upward are made to be the clamping tool 3.
